Your career

Where is my career saved?

On your phone, inside the game. The game saves as you play, so there’s no save button. There are no accounts, and we don’t keep anything online. Like your other apps, the game is included in your own iPhone backup, in iCloud or on your computer, if you back up your phone.

Can I move my career to another phone?

Yes, when you move to a new iPhone from a backup of your old one (iCloud, a computer or Quick Start): your careers come along. There’s no syncing, though, so two phones each keep a career of their own.

What happens if I delete the game?

Its career is deleted from your phone too, along with any purchases you haven’t used up yet, and we can’t bring them back.

How do I start a new career?

Open the game and tap New career on the title screen. Each game keeps one career at a time, so if you already have one going, the game checks with you first: the old career will be gone for good. You can also tap Delete career at the bottom of the Career tab.

Is there chat or online play?

No. The messages in your story come from made-up characters. There’s no chat, no online play and no way to contact other players.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. The games work offline. You only need a connection to buy something.

Energy and purchases

How does energy work?

Training, matches, bookings, tattoo sessions and most other things cost energy. It comes back at the start of every week in the game, for free. When you’re running low, play this week’s big moment, answer your messages and start the next week from the Home tab. Your stamina, your mood and some things from the in-game shop bring more of it back.

Low energy makes the mini-games harder, so keep some back for the moments that matter.

Do I need to buy anything to keep playing?

No. Energy always comes back for free, and there are no ads. Some games may offer optional purchases, such as an energy refill.

Apple handles every payment, so we never see your payment details. In Runway Star, a question for a grown-up comes before any purchase.

I bought something and it didn’t arrive

Close the game fully and open it again: anything that was paid for but not delivered comes through when the game starts. If Ask to Buy is on, it arrives once it’s approved. Still missing? Email us.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request a refund from Apple.

Reporting a problem

If something isn’t working, email us and include:

• which game: Tattoo Star, Football Star or Runway Star
• your iPhone model and iOS version (both are in Settings > General > About)
• what happened, and what you were doing just before
• a screenshot or screen recording, if you can

Please leave out personal details we don’t need. If you’re a child, ask a parent or carer to email us for you.
